This website
The public site at ciakko.com sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising network, no embedded social widget. That is why you did not see a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
The sign-in service
When you download the app or sign in, you use our sign-in service at oauth.ciakko.com. It sets the cookies below. All of them are strictly necessary to do what you asked, so no consent is required, and none of them is used to track you across sites.
| Cookie | What it does | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
Ciakko.Oauth.Auth |
Keeps you signed in so you do not have to enter a code on every visit. | 30 days, renewed while you use it |
.AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* |
Protects the sign-in forms from being submitted by another site on your behalf. | Until you close the browser |
.AspNetCore.Mvc.CookieTempDataProvider |
Carries a one-time message between two pages, for example after a sign-in code is sent. | Until the next page |
The desktop app
The app does not use browser cookies. It keeps your sign-in token and your license on your PC, in the app's own folder, encrypted with Windows' data protection. Signing out from the app removes them.
Managing cookies
Your browser lets you delete or block cookies. Blocking the sign-in cookie means you will enter a code each time you sign in; nothing else on the site changes.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we add it to this page first and ask for your consent before it is set.
