A cursor that looks right
The pointer is drawn again on top of the video: bigger, smoother, with a soft ring on every click, and hidden when it just sits there. Change its size after recording, not before.
Screen, window or area
Record a whole monitor, one window, or draw the exact area you want. Leave the taskbar out. Add your webcam as a bubble you can move any time, and blur the room behind you with one switch.
Backgrounds and framing
Pick a color or a gradient, set the margin, round the corners, add a shadow. Presets get you there in a click, sliders get you the exact look.
Captions written on your PC
Spoken words become captions with the timing of each word, in your language. Classic, karaoke or box styles, all editable by clicking the text in the preview. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Cuts, speed, dead time
Split, trim and delete on a simple timeline. Speed up any part, and let Ciakko find the stretches where nothing happened and fast forward them for you.
Wide, square or vertical
Export the same recording for the website, the feed or Shorts. The camera keeps the action in frame in every format.
Fast where it counts
Recording and export use your graphics card, so a long take does not turn into a long wait. The preview shows exactly what the export will look like.
Still images too
Export the frame under the playhead, or one image per zoom block, as PNG at the export size: the screenshots for the landing page and the README, from the same recording.
